Early Head Start

The Neighborhood Place for Early Head Start is a year-round, federally funded program that provides comprehensive services to children ages zero to three years, in targeted zip codes of Miami-Dade County. High quality care and support at the earliest age possible is the foundation for getting children ready to learn and developing self-confidence.

Free Child Care Resource and Referral

Child Care Resource and Referral is free for families and partners seeking information on quality early care and education programs. We also support potential and current partners with information on starting a child care business, enhancing your program, and any questions about VPK and School Readiness. In Miami-Dade and Monroe call 305-646-7220 Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Professional Development Institute

The Professional Development Institute (PDI) offers quality learning experiences to support early education practitioners and stakeholders to work with and on behalf of young children and the significant adults in their lives. PDI offers training through a variety of proven delivery methods in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole. PDI has been accredited by IACET since 2019.

Join the Book Club

The new, improved, and expanded Children’s Trust Book Club will offer free, monthly books by mail for children from birth through their 5th birthday living in Miami-Dade County.

Warm Line/Inclusion

The Warm-Line helps families with concerns about your child’s growth or development, your child’s behavior, classroom accommodations and intervention strategies as well as referrals to other agencies. Call the Warm-Line at 786-433-3095 and an Inclusion Specialist will contact you to discuss your concerns and determine next steps.

The Florida Gap Map brings together the important work of the Florida Prosperity Project and the Florida Business Alliance for Early Learning Project. This online tool gives business and community leaders throughout Florida important information on the schools in their community.
