Place Value Learning

Children start their learning journey in Math when they start to count. When they are confindent counting small groups of objects and getting beyond 10, they then begin to develop their understanding of place value up to 100 and beyond.

When they have understood how place value with whole numbers works, they can start learning about place value with decimals.

Each chart comes in several different forms so that you can choose the one that most suits your needs.

The first chart has headings and one space below to record a number. There are multiple charts on each page.

The second chart has headings and enough space for 10 numbers below.

The third chart type is an eco-print chart that uses minimal black ink to print.

This decimal place value chart goes from 'Millions' through to 'Thousandths'.

This chart goes from 'Ones' through to 'Millionths'.

This chart goes from 'Thousands' through to 'Thousandths', and includes decimal and fraction equivalents.

This chart goes from 'Thousandths' through to 'Hundredths', and includes decimal and fraction equivalents.
